On 15 and 16 May 2023, a major event in the publishing world took place: the Rencontres Francophones du Livre Audio, organised in Strasbourg by the association La Plume de Paon. This gathering brought together audiobook professionals from across the French-speaking world to discuss and reflect on the challenges and opportunities facing this fast-growing sector.
Over two captivating days, participants were immersed in a rich and varied programme that included inspiring talks, lively panel discussions, engaging workshops, and exclusive encounters with both authors and readers. The focus was on the latest developments in audiobook technology, as well as best practices in publishing and distribution.
