“Henri DJOMBO (and indeed himself…)” is the theme I chose to open this series of literary and artistic events in Yaoundé. As a publisher of esteemed writers and in tribute to a literary comrade of over thirty years, I am honoured to present this hearing today. His life and work are reflected in a remarkable roster of awards:
