The 30th edition of the Salon International de l’Édition et du Livre (SIEL) cast a spotlight on the Emirate of Sharjah, in a vibrant atmosphere steeped in intercultural dialogue.

From 18 to 27 April 2025, the OLM Souissi venue in Rabat was transformed into a cultural crossroads for lovers of literature, art, and ideas. For this landmark edition, SIEL (the International Book and Publishing Fair) presented an ambitious programme that placed literature at the heart of a broader vision—one that seeks to connect people across cultures. As Guest of Honour, the Emirate of Sharjah played a central role in this dynamic, symbolising the fair’s openness to the Gulf region and the rich diversity of Arab culture.
